Offshore Sailing, Racing & Yacht Deliveries
Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to sail on a wide range of yachts — from high-performance offshore racers to versatile cruiser-racers — across some of Australia’s most spectacular waters. These videos give you a glimpse into the journeys, races, and offshore deliveries that have shaped my sailing over this time.
The footage featured here has been captured while actively sailing — either during competitive race events or while on delivery passages. It reflects not only my experience on the water, but also my background in professional videography and post-production, allowing me to document these moments while fully contributing as part of the crew.
You’ll see me helming through challenging offshore passages, navigating tricky currents, and managing sail changes across courses that stretch from the Whitsundays to Port Phillip Bay. From the intense conditions of the Melbourne to Hobart Westcoaster and Airlie Beach Race Week, to the tactical battles of club racing and Offshore Racing Club of Victoria events, each voyage has been a lesson in teamwork, seamanship, and adapting to whatever the ocean throws at us.
I’ve been fortunate to sail with some incredible skippers and crews, learning from their experience while taking on key roles myself — whether at the helm, as bow person, or managing navigation. Along the way, I’ve developed strong offshore capability, including watch systems, heavy-weather helming, sail handling, and the kind of decision-making that only comes from time at sea.
Combining sailing experience with professional content creation allows me to add an extra layer of value onboard — particularly for yacht deliveries, where documenting the journey, creating media content, or capturing key moments can be just as important as the passage itself.
